Sliding bearing is mainly divided into two categories: integral bearings and split bearings. The repair method can be selected according to the following classification conditions:
Integral bearing
(1) When the bearing hole is worn, it is generally corrected by replacing the bearing and machining the bearing hole by boring, reaming or scraping; plastic deformation can also be used, that is, by shortening the length of the bearing and reducing the inner diameter.
(2) After the inner hole of the bearing without bearing bush is worn out, it can be corrected by the insert sleeve method, that is, the bearing hole is bored, pressed into the processed bush, and then trimmed according to the journal to meet the matching requirements.
Split Bearing
(1) Replacement of bearing shells generally requires replacement of new bearing shells under the following conditions:
Severe burn damage, large burned area of tile mouth and large wear depth, which cannot be saved by scraping and running-in;
The bearing alloy of the tile lining is thinned to the limit size;
The bearing shell is chipped or cracked severely;
Severe wear, radial clearance is too large to be adjusted.
(2) Scraping bearing scratches or severe gluing (burning tiles) during operation is often seen.
Sliding bearing
(3) Adjusting the radial clearance The radial clearance of the bearing increases due to wear, resulting in oil leakage, vibration, and accelerated wear.
(4) Reduce the touch point of view and increase the size of the oil wedge. Bearings gradually increase in wear as the operating time increases, forming a sinking journal, and increasing the touch point of view, which deteriorates smooth conditions and accelerates wear.
(5) Repair welding and surfacing welding can be used to make corrections for wear, scratches, fractures or other defects of bearings.
Use flat chisel, scraper and other tools to clean the parts that need repair welding, so that the surface is free of oil, residue, impurities, and reveals the metal luster;
Select the same material as the bearing material as the welding rod, and use gas welding to repair the bearing. The thickness of the welding layer is generally 2 to 3mm. Deeper defects can be repaired in multiple layers;
When the repair welding area is large, the bottom of the bearing can be immersed in water to cool, or work intermittently, leaving time for cooling;
Rework after repair welding. Partial repair welding can be corrected by manual trimming and scraping. Large area repair welding can be cut on the machine tool.
(6) Re-casting bearing bush linings For sliding bearings that are severely worn and failed, repair welding or surfacing can no longer meet the requirements. At this time, it is necessary to re-cast the bearing alloy. It is a very common correction method.
Make preparations before pouring, including necessary tools, materials and equipment, such as: fixtures and plates for fixing bearing bushes, bearing alloys with the same trademark as required by the drawings, tin powder and tin rods for hanging tin, and melting bearing alloys Heating furnace, crucible containing bearing alloy, etc.
The old bearing alloy on the bearing bush should be melted off before pouring. It can be roasted with a blowtorch, or the old bushing can be put on a crucible for melting the alloy to melt the alloy.
Check and correct the tile back to make the inner surface of the tile back free of oxides and silver-gray; make the geometry of the tile back meet the technical requirements; make the tile back expand before pouring, to ensure that the cooling shortens and the tile seat is good after pouring fit.
