Sliding
bearings are often used in the production and maintenance of industrial
equipment. Greases used in different operating conditions are also
different. Now, Jintai bearings will take you to learn how to use
sliding bearing grease under various conditions. .
(1)
When the bearing load is large and the rotation speed is low, the
grease with a small coning angle should be selected. On the contrary, a
large coning angle should be selected. High-speed bearings use smaller cone penetration and good mechanical stability. Special attention is paid to the lower viscosity of the grease base oil.
(2) The dropping point of the selected grease is generally higher than
the operating temperature of 20-30°C. In the case of high temperature
continuous operation, be careful not to exceed the permissible operating
temperature range of the grease.
(3) Sliding bearings When working in water or wet environments, choose
calcium-, aluminum- or lithium-based greases with good water
resistance.
(4) Use grease with good adhesion.
2, the choice of grease for sliding bearings:
The load is less than 1MPa, the circumferential speed of the journal
is less than 1m/s, and the maximum working temperature is 75°C.
Load 1-6.5MPa, journal circumferential speed 0.5-5m/s, maximum working temperature 55°C, use No. 2 calcium grease;
Load> 6.5MPa, journal circumferential speed 0.5m / s or less, maximum operating temperature 75 °C, use No. 3 calcium grease;
The load is less than 6.5MPa, the journal circumferential speed is
0.5-5m/s, the maximum working temperature is 120°C, and No. 2 lithium
grease is selected;
Load> 6.5MPa, journal circumferential speed below 0.5m / s, maximum
working temperature 110 °C, use No. 2 calcium - sodium grease;
Load 1-6.5MPa, journal circumferential speed below 1m/s, maximum working temperature 50-100°C, choose No. 2 lithium grease;
Load> 5MPa journal circumferential speed 0.5m / s, maximum working temperature 60 °C, use No. 2 calendered fat;
In wet conditions, temperatures of 75-120°C, calcium-sodium grease greases should be considered. In
humid environments, the operating temperature is below 75°C, there is
no No. 3 calcium grease, and aluminum grease can also be used. When the working temperature is 110-120°C, lithium or hydrazine can be used. When concentrated lubrication, the consistency is smaller.
3. Lubrication cycle of grease for sliding bearings:
Occasional work, non-essential parts: shaft speed <200r/min,
lubrication cycle once every 5 days; shaft speed> 200r/min,
lubrication cycle once every 3 days.
Intermittent work: shaft speed <200r/min, lubrication period 2 days
once; shaft speed> 200r/min, lubrication cycle once a day.
Continuous work, working temperature is less than 40 °C: shaft speed
<200r/min, lubrication cycle once a day; shaft speed> 200r/min,
lubrication cycle once per shift.
Continuous
work, working temperature 40-100 °C: shaft speed <200r/min,
lubrication cycle once per shift; shaft speed> 200r/min, lubrication
cycle twice per shift.
